Program Terms Summary
This summary reflects the framework supplied by the program owner. It is not a substitute for the final rules approved by qualified promotions and alcohol-beverage counsel.
1. Organizer
Sazerac Company, Inc., 10101 Linn Station Road, Suite 400, Louisville, Kentucky 40223, USA. Program information is available through sazeracbarrelselect.com and info@sazerac.com.
2. Promotion period
The free online promotional drawing begins October 12, 2026, at 12:00 AM Eastern Time and ends November 25, 2026, at 11:59 PM Eastern Time. The computer-generated random drawing is scheduled on or about December 2, 2026.
3. Eligibility
Open to legal residents of eligible United States jurisdictions who are at least 21 years old at the time of entry. Jurisdictions in which the drawing or required alcohol fulfillment is prohibited are excluded. The exact excluded-state and territory list must appear in the final approved rules before launch.
4. How to enter
During the promotion period, an eligible participant may complete the designated online form with their full legal name, email address, date of birth, state of residence, and required eligibility and rules acknowledgements. No purchase or payment is necessary to enter or be selected. Limit one entry per eligible person and household. Automated, duplicate, incomplete, fraudulent, or untimely entries may be rejected.
5. One featured barrel, shared by six
The campaign features the single Old Rip Van Winkle barrel shown in the supplied reference photograph. Six potential selected participants will share the resulting bottle allocation from this barrel. Exact barrel yield, bottle count per participant, bottle price, taxes, fees, and licensed-retailer terms must be confirmed in the final approved rules. Selection does not provide cash or a cash equivalent.
6. Selection and notification
Six potential selected participants will be chosen through a random computer-generated process from eligible entries and notified by email within five business days after the drawing. Each selection remains subject to verification of identity, age, residency, eligibility, and compliance with the final rules. Odds depend on the number of eligible entries received.
7. Purchase and fulfillment
Each selected participant is responsible for the applicable federal, state, and local taxes, licensing fees, and bottle costs associated with that participant’s final allocation. Payment and receipt are coordinated through an approved licensed retailer under applicable state liquor laws and the three-tier distribution model. Fulfillment is expected to take approximately 16–20 weeks after the applicable selection and personalization steps. Timing is an estimate, not a guarantee.
8. Charitable allocation
The supplied campaign framework proposes that 85% of designated program proceeds and partner givebacks support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and 15% support program administration, compliance, and community outreach through the Sazerac corporate giving fund. Campaign-specific beneficiary naming, the allocation basis, timing, deductions, and written partner approval must be finalized before public launch. No participant payment is represented as tax-deductible.
9. General conditions
The organizer may verify eligibility, investigate suspected fraud or interference, and enforce the final official rules. Required provisions concerning releases, publicity, cancellation, modification, force majeure, disputes, governing law, limitations of liability, and alternate selections remain subject to counsel approval.
